Privacy Policy

When you create an account, we store your name and email address. We use them only to create your account, sign you in, and show your name in the app. We never sell them.

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account. We use these only to create and sign you into your SpeakMate account. We do not read your emails, files, or anything else from Google.

To make practice work, we store your practice data in your account: your scores (speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation), your streak, your chosen level and native language, and the conversations you have with the AI coach.

This means your progress follows you when you sign in on another device. It is visible only to you.

Your practice data is used to give you feedback, remember your progress, and adjust difficulty for you. Conversations may also be reviewed in a general way to improve how the coach responds. Your data is never sold and never shared for advertising.

SpeakMate AI relies on third-party services to work: one for accounts and sign-in, and an AI service for the coach's replies and speech recognition. These services process your data only where necessary to provide authentication and AI features in the app.

You can ask us to delete your account and everything stored with it — your progress, scores, streak and conversation history. Just contact us and we will delete it for you.
